Hello, I am suffering from depression again. It's a relapse. Most of my teenage years went through this and now it's back. Could be due to work stress. Idk. It sucks. Any tips?

Hi
can feel discouraging, especially when you’ve fought this battle before, but it also means you already know it can improve again. Work stress often acts as a trigger when the mind and body have been carrying too much for too long. Right now focus on basics without judging yourself: maintain a simple routine, sleep timing, regular meals, light movement, reduced isolation, and avoid making major life decisions while your mood is low.
What matters most is not handling this alone or waiting for it to become severe. A relapse usually responds better when treated early through therapy, and if needed, psychiatric support. We would also explore what patterns from your teenage years are getting reactivated now so the cycle can be broken more deeply this time. Take therapy. To over come depression you need some kind of support system. You can take some therapy sessions too to understand what is causing the frequent relapses and to develop some coping strategies when you feel triggers for depression are arising in your life.
Medicines also help, but in relapses you definitely need to understand what is causing it and what coping mechanisms you need to change to deal with stress, and how your current coping strategies are failing you
