I have had this chicken pox mark on my nose for 12 years now and want to get rid of it completely and permanently. Will laser treatment work or shall I opt for surgery or any other method? Please help.

This is a chicken pox scar. Scarring is more likely if you scratched or picked at your chicken pox, or if you had a severe case that damaged the outer layer of skin. Chicken pox scars are notoriously difficult to fade. Treatments include Fillers like soft tissue fillers which can be used to add shape back into depressed or sunken scars. Others like Microneedling, Microdermabrasion, Chemical peels, Skin grafting and Laser resurfacing like CO2 lasers. Consult a Dermatologist for the same to find the best solution depending on the skin type amd requirement.
