Hi Both Gaining and losing weight is not easy...but with consistent efforts with good diet and healthy lifestyle both put together will slowly help you in achieving your target.. For gaining weight consume high calorie diet consisting of moderate carbs, protein, fats, EFA'S, all variety nuts, seeds, dry fruits , fresh dates, red and Kerala variety bananas, home made healthy sweet items, sweet potato kheer, full cream milk and it's products, small  frequent meals, chew food well, drink enough water, fruit juices, enjoy your food thoroughly with every morsel, ghee in dal and light exercises..are all helpful...with daily consistent efforts in place..

For gaining weight,  you can consider these suggestions : 1. Maintain meal gaps: take small and frequent meals every 2-3 hours. 2. Walk after every meal for 15-20 minutes, it will boost up your metabolism and you will be able to consume sufficient food. 3. Include dates and figs in your diet. 4. Make rotis out of (50% wheat+ 50% besan) 5. Drink 2-3 litres of water everyday.

Hi Don't drink water before meals. This can fill your stomach and make it harder to get in enough calories. Eat more often. ... Drink milk. ... Try weight  gainer shakes. ... Use bigger plates. ... Add cream to your coffee. ... Get quality sleep. Make sure you are eat small frequent meals and do for walk for 30mins everyday.

Eat good food with plenty of veg,fruits and raw greengram sprouts in every meal. Millets as ragi,jowar are good substitute for rice/ wheat.. Yoga,playing sports,exercises are for health and fitness. Milk milk products are good to gain weight. Dry fruits nuts are good too . Sleep leisurely for six hrs atleast at night.

Weight gain  is a gradual process that to after  a particular age as metabolism slows down,try increasing  your portions such as the numbers  of chapati, one or two more spoons of of dhals ,lentils, one or 2  pieces of extra non-vegetarian  such as fish,egg white or chicken and variety  of vegetables  as soups,tikkis,cutlets,and seasonal  fruits but keep  your physical activity  also optimum  and consistent instead of weight gain  you can try to increase your lean body mass .
