My dad is 62 He is diagnosed with sugar and has high blood pressure Hbp-170 And sugar post meal is 254 And fasting is 164 Can u recommend me what to do to lower down the levels. How to maintain a healthy diet

Hello Can you specify the bp in SBP/DBP . That will help in understanding his bp better. Systolic of 170 is quite high. Medication have to started immediately and bp has to be controlled in a gradual manner. Just for your information,  One of the worst outcomes of high bp in elderly is bleed in the brain This is to emphasize the importance of controlling no especially in elderly. The sugar values are also raised but not too high.Though medication has to be started for that too. But controlling bp will be the priority
