Hello doctors,
I go to a government hospital. I have ABPA (Allergic Bronchopulmonary Aspergillosis), no asthma, and no cystic fibrosis. My IgE is 7000, and doctors say it means I have asthma — but I think it’s high due to ABPA only.
I got ABPA after COVID.
I did skin prick tests (many positives), but exposure doesn’t affect my breathing.
My PFT did not improve after bronchodilator, which usually happens in asthma.
👉 Is there any test to confirm if I have asthma or not?
👉 I want clear evidence to show my doctors.
If I have asthma, I’ll accept — but I want proper confirmation.
Please suggest the right test for this situation.
