How to clean tongue of baby

Hi I have a 6 month old son. He has recently started having liquids. Since then I have noticed his tongue is always coated. I use to clean his tongue with a thin wet cloth. But recently have noticed that the tongue is not completely clean. Kindly guide how to clean the tongue of the baby?
