How severe is my sprain
I've had a fall recently and hurt my rt ankle. A  fracture has been ruled out . How can I tell the severity of my sprain? X ray for this is attached.

severity of the sprain can be determined with the ability to stand or walk on that limb. if you can do that with tolerable pain then its minor but if your unable to load the limb then it can be a grade2/3 sprain.

Since you are describing pain in Ankle there is No XRay of Ankle shared by you?? This is a XRay of foot which obviously looks normal. Please take XRay Ankle!

Your x ray seems fine. Severity of sprain can't be decided on x ray. Have to get MRI DONE for that.
