How can it be detectes high sugar level
What test can reveal the reson for hugh sugar leavel even when on metformin, fenugeek tabs and diet is normal. Is it because insiling produced by the body is not utilized or due the body is not producing insulin. Henerally fasting sugar level is 110 to under 200 and hb1ac last month was 6.3.

Hi..High sugar levels can happen if the body is not using insulin properly (insulin resistance) or not making enough insulin. To find the reason, you can do tests like Fasting Insulin, C-peptide, and HOMA-IR. These will help understand how your body is handling insulin. Please consult a diabetologist or do these tests and review the results. Continue diet control and regular walking. Even if HbA1c is normal, sugar spikes can still occur.
