Even though indian psychiatrist prescribed you can get in india due to its availability and approval in india.Hence you need to get that medicine from states only.

Guanfacine ER is currently not approved or marketed in India. Therefore, an Indian psychiatrist generally cannot prescribe and dispense it through regular Indian pharmacies.
A licensed USA psychiatrist may prescribe Guanfacine ER following an appropriate clinical assessment if the patient is located in a jurisdiction where the psychiatrist is legally permitted to practice and prescribe. However, a US prescription alone does not automatically allow import into India. Indian customs and drug import regulations must still be followed.

It is not that it is not approved in India. Because demand is low, drug companies haven't pursued the regulatory approval of CDSCO.
And yes , you can have a licensed psychiatrist in India evaluate you and issue a prescription for Guanfacine
