Homeopathy medicine severe side effect
I am 27 years old having IBS and Gerd and stool consistency problem since childhood. So I consult a homeopath in Kolkata who treats only chronic disease and experience of 30 years . Taking case history for at least 2 hours he gave only constitutional medicine Silver Nitrate 0/1 , 0/2 ,0/3 , one by one ( each potency for 10 days and then 1 day gap) Directions of use :- Pouring 100 ml water in a glass and giving the bottle 10 succasion then mixing 5 ml of Medicine with 100 ml water take 2 spoon in the morning and then the solution is kept and in the evening again 2 spoon. But taking this medicine from first day my stool consistency going to be little hard though other symptoms improved and then after 10 days stool becomes more hard and pain in the anal region for last 2 days. So it is completely wrong that homeopathy has no side effect . It has severe side effect. Silver Nitrate is a poison. So why homeopath claim that it has no big side effect when taken under direction of doctor ?

The medicine which you are taking should always be more powerful than the disease right ??or else how the medicine will terminate the disease?? It should have that much potential.
so when a much powerful substance ( medicine) enter your body it creates some mild aggravation which absolutely goes away with little bit of time if the Dose of the medicine is properly chosen
& homoeopathy medicines being prepared from natural substances of high diluted form the aggravation or whatever side effect that comes with the medicine is so negligible that it causes no harm to the body unless a medicine is wrongly overdosed.
If there is effect there should be a counter effect right? That's why Homoeopathy negligible is harmless unless wrong medicine is prescribed or overdosed.

And an ibs patient getting stool little bit constipated after Medicine doesn't mean side effect it is effect of medicine not side effect. You are taking medicines to control your bowel right? if you get completely constipated for days after days for medicine than it can be considered a side effect and if you face such issues you should consult your doctor.
and remember one thing ibs occurs due to psychological cause so when a patient for years is habituated to go to bathroom 5 /6 times a day & suddenly bowel get constipated he feel mentally ill too . this is not a side effect.

Its not side effect of homeopathy medicine.
It is a effect after you stoped the allopathic medicine which you are taking before starting homeopathic medicine.
You taken lots of allopathic medicine for your disease ( luxatives and all ) and when you stop that your complaints getting worse. We all know that whenever we stop luxative we felt constipation again and we continue use luxative it causes medicine dependend. Thats why when we stop the luxative we felt more constipated as compare to before.
And the most important silver nitrate homeopathic medicine in potentised form it never cause poisonous effect.

First you should understand what is the meaning of side effects.
If homoeopathic medicine selected and prescribe right there are no side effects.
Homoeopathy never claims that even if you take wrong medicine you will not get adverse effects.
Also it is always given instructions to take any medicine under doctor's advise.
It is patient who don't want to pay the consultation charges, start self medication.
Third, having any numbers of years of experience does not make a doctor perfect and secure him from making a wrong prescription in a given case as every individual case is different.
Fourth, the adverse effects produced by homoeopathic medicine is very short lasting, does not leave any residual effects, if the medication is stopped in time.
Fifth, before raising question to whole system based on one individual's action is quite outrageous.

First of all you have to trust the doctor. Secondly you already have a GI complaint for which you are taking medicines. This means you haven't got any new symptoms after taking the medicine. You may state this as the medicine did not work rather than calling it as a side effect. Your food, exercise, lifestyle everything will have a role to play on the way yours stools happen. So change your thought about suspecting the medicine and go to the same / different doctor and explain your symptoms. Also don't fixate that silver nitrate is a poison and you are consuming poison. Google and know about the way homoeopathic medicines are being prepared. Check your diet.
