HIV report
Hi recently I have done a test for hbsg, HIV for our IUI treatment and result showed observed value as 0.90 non reactive where as my wife's value show as 0.35 non reactive in the same lab report. Is it in the borderline? I'm very much concerned after seeing this. Please advise.

A non-reactive result is considered negative. The exact value is usually not significant if it's below the laboratory's cutoff

Your result of 0.90 reported as "Non-reactive" and your wife's result of 0.35 reported as "Non-reactive" are both considered negative according to your laboratory's reference range. These numbers are assay signal values (such as COI/S-CO) and are not a measure of the amount of virus in your body. Different individuals can have different non-reactive values, and a value closer to the cut-off does not mean you are "almost positive."
