When I seat for a long period specially on car seat, I get sharp pain inside my left hip which radiates through leg and lower back. Is it related to sciatica?

It is possible that your symptoms could be related to sciatica, which is a condition where the sciatic nerve, which runs from the lower back down the legs, becomes compressed or irritated. However, there are also other possible causes of hip and leg pain, such as hip joint problems or muscle strains

By description your pain looks like sciatica. Use a proper sitting posture in your car.. Improper posture can cause you this pain.
Next Steps
Better get it checked clinically for proper diagnosis and treatment by an orthopedic doctor.
