Take less rice or rotis with more curries.Avoid deep fries &                pickles.Restrict oil to 1/2 lt per person month.Keep changing the varieties of oils.In Non veg         prefer egg-white,chicken & fish.Avoid ghee, pamolein oil 4.Have Snacks like Sprouts,Oats,Cornflakes,Murmura,Poha,Popcorn,Boiled lentils in between lunch       and diner i.e.at 4.30-500pm. 5.Have dinner by 8.30pm which should include rotis or phulkas or wheat / jowar dalia with curry. 6.Have a cup of warm milk at 10 pm. Maintain 1 1/2 to 2 hrs between supper and bedtime. Have an early dinner. The more late you have your dinner, the more chances of uncontrolled sugars. Check your thyroid and Vit D levels as they influence your sugar levels. Even then your sugars are not controlled switch to insulin and titrate the dosages accordingly under the guidance of your doctor.
