High Risk Surgery
I am 66 years old with mild symptomatic multiple gallstones.. I 100 percent wanted the surgery but after anesthetic check up in a multispeciality hospital, it was said that I had 30 percent chances of ending up in a ventilator or dying.. Coz I have weak lungs due to Covid and severe sleep apnea.. What should I do? I just have mild pain in upper abdomen sometimes.. Never an attack that lasted for hours.. And good appetite also.. Never vomiting.. Not diabetic.. What should I do? I want to live.. In my case what is ideal to do?

Listen to what your Anesthesiologist says. Lung damage by Covid is not going to recover any time soon. Delaying surgery for that won't help. If you have made up your mind regarding surgery, go for it.
