High level of IL6
Hi , My father has been tested positive for covid 19. He also has easophageal cancer for which he had undergone 10 cycles of chemo (folfox6). We have done the covid profile blood test in which all parameters are good. CRP: 3.15, d-dimer : 0.24, CT score 5/25, spO2: 98. Only his IL6 value is 1908. I am worried what should be done in this case this high value of IL6 is because of the chemo or due to the covid. Thanks in advance.
