CRP is a non-specific indicator of inflammation. Elevated CRP is associated with an increased risk of CVD (Cardiovascular disease). A CRP value between 3-10 mg/L is associated with a high CVD risk. You should have the following tests done:
Lipid Panel.
CBC (Hemogram).
ESR.
There are other tests, but this is a good start.

It is important to remember that both CRP and hs-CRP become elevated in a wide range of acute and chronic inflammatory conditions such as infections, rheumatic arthritis, many other inflammatory diseases, and many cancers.
