Is active ileitis the cause behind elevated ferritin?
My Hb was 9.1on 16th june..Now it is 8.2..
How will ferritin reduce?
Also,how will I increase Hb without taking iron supplements?I'm taking high protein diet

Plz take Iron rich food such as dates, jaggery, beans, green leafy vegetables.
Alone high protein intake will not help
U need other vitamin supplements.
Yes ferritin will be high in such infections but it will be temporary rise.
