High ferritin and dengue.
My father suffered from dengue. At that time Doctor prescribed some test where his ferritin level was very high <2000. And his platelet count was 80000.Today his platelets count is 160000. Is there anything to worry?I am attaching all the reports.please suggest.

Ferritin is an acute phase reactant, I which goes up with any kind of inflammation

FERRITIN is an acute phase reactant....it will raise in any inflammation, infection ect . Why d dimer was done ...if it's high even after infection resolved ...he needs to have blood thinners. More details needed .
