High esr value in blood test
Hi, my son having high esr, is it because of any infection .. suffered with cold, cough and fever in that time

Esr is not very specific. Crp along with other blood counts will be more informative in small children. But yes esr will be elevated in case of any infection or inflammation. It will settle once the fever and infection settles and is nothing to worry about
