High CRp in blood
My kid (1.9 years old) is suffering from fever from past 3 days. Her blood test shows CRp 75, ketones 50mg/dl, PCv 29 TLC 15.8, RDW 15 and esr 30. Is this some thing need immediate attention ? We started using antibiotic syrup (Taxim o forte) from this morning as per Pediatrician. Please suggest . thanks

Reports suggests infection so Continue medicines prescribed by doctor, wait for 2 to 3 days to see response... Give plenty of liquid orally and healthy diet..

Go by the condition of the child.. laboratory tests are just supplementary..if the child is improving with the antibiotics and other medications prescribed by your doctor the blood reports will come back to normal.

just follow up with ur doctor after 2-3 days of starting treatment and repeat the tests if needed
