High CRP 48 mg and Low haemoglobin.
My father is having fever,weakness,cough. His CRP level is high 48 mg and low haemoglobin 5.4 mg. Local doctor suggested it is infection in chest and need antiboitic treatment with glioucose. Pls suggest.

Pl admitt him first,in a hospital, and give blood transfusion.other relevant investigations have to be done, to diagnose the disease. Then plan for treatment. Pl consult Pulmonologist online with all the reports and treatment taken.
