When you measure your BP make sure that you are relaxed , sitting in an upright position with your legs uncrossed, feet on the ground, the BP measuring arm at the level of the heart. Measure your BP 3 times 1 minute apart.Dont consider the first reading ,take the average of last 2 readings .
If you can get a reading as high as 150/120 then you should consult your General Physician urgently.
Please keep a record of your BP every six hours . You may have to revise your treatment for Hypertension. A single reading of this magnitude may spell disaster. So don't ever miss your dose of Antihypertensive drugs.
