High BP problem
My dad is facing high BP problem it's not coming under control. Consulted many doctors but of no use.

Treating high BP is not simple as it looks. when we give medicines for BP , we have to look at several aspects simultaneously, that is we should evaluate if long standing BP has caused any harm to any body organs.most commonly 1.kidneys 2. heart.3. eyes. 4. brain medicines are given accordingly In more than half of the cases there is no cause of high BP. but in the rest 50% we have to find a cause and treat it.
Next Steps
1.mentain a morning , evening chart of blood pressure for 15 days 2. have a diet low in salt and high in fruits and vegetables 3. get these investigations done a. serum urea, creatinine, urine examination for albumin, renal colour doppler( kidneys) b. ECG( heart) c.fundus examination( eyes) d. serum sodium , potassium, TSH
