High BP post Pregnancy
Hello, My wife had High BP ie., 160/100 a few days back and she was carrying. Recently she had C Section and delivered a baby boy. Post operation she had normal BP 80/120. After she was discharged, doc suggested to keep checking for BP at least for 2 weeks. Day before yesterday she had 150/100 and doc suggested to take bed rest atleast for 2 months. She is also taking BP tablets Amlodipine 2.5mg Still her BP is low. Can anyone suggest if this is normal or should change the tablets.

150/100 is not low BP. Please mention the proper blood pressure chart to your physician. And follow his/her advise depending upon the bp values.dont stop or change the dose on your own.
