My BP comes out around 150/90..when I get it checked by doctor(Manual reading) . However when I check it at home with digital monitor the value is always around 130 by 78. Can you please help me out, do I need to start bp medication. I don't have any other medical issue. Are the readings given by digital monitor false?

Hello mercury manometer is always more accurate than the digital one....BP readings may vary with postures...anxiety...stress...physical activity let her check her BP continuously in morning and evening for 3 to 4 days even after this if the BP readings are more she has to be started with antihypertensive consult physician for further evaluation and treatment I hope this helps to solve your problem.
