High Blood Pressure and Diabetic
I have high BP and recently diagnosed with Diabetes. I have been taking Amlodac 2.5mg since 2004 for BP, recently started taking Glycomet SR 500 for diabetes (at night). Yesterday I did my Hb1C test and BS Fasting, which came about 6.2% and 112 respectively. Just wanted to check if anything needs to be changed.

Your sugar levels are well in control with your current therapy. Continue to adhere with your medication, diet and physical activity plan as advised by your doctor. I recommend some tests as you are recently diagnosed with diabetes: 1) lipid profile 2) serum creatinine 3) Urine for microalbumin 4) ECG 5) Fundus examination.
