Once you start tab Regestrone 5 mg 8 hrly for 5 days then 12 hrly for 25 days and go for ultrasound to confirm any pathology, and start iron Syp or capsule and Glucon D orally

Heavy painful periods generally occur due to fibroids of uterus or bulky uterus due to adenomyosis
Treatment varies as per the cause
Sonography n physical checkup is more essential
Hematenics shud be taken as iron deficiency must have occurred
