My mother had cough from last 8 months ..it's not too much ..
So dr did CT SCAN and Endoscopy

Cough is not a symptom of Hiatus hernia. Hiatus hernia seems to be a coincidental finding when your mother was being investigated for the coughing.
I think we should not concentrate on Hiatus hernia because it is not troubling her. Secondly all treatments for Hiatus hernia are not very satisfactory as far as the outcome is concerned.
So she should be investigated for cough, especially Tuberculosis and Allergy
