Herpes over genitals or the lips , both are treatable conditions. They maybe recurrent because of residual viral particles in the persons body which get reactivated but they can be treated every time and we can even prevent multiple recurrences with proper medications.

Hello
Please dont be stressed as stress can trigger these episodes. Yes it is recurrent problem but with proper treatment it can improve. Stress and decrease in immunity can trigger the episodes. If its recurrent we can even start suppressive therapy to prevent recurrences
