I have had inconsistent results over 6 months for HSV-1. Never had symptoms. Both previous partners tested negative. Currently no partner.
At test centre A: (December 2023)
Hsv-1 igg: 1.14 positive
At test centre B: (December 2023)
Hsv1 & 2 igg - Negative (no value)
At test centre C: (April 2024)
HSV-1 igg : 4.9 , My ex's value: 1.6
At test centre D: (May 2024)
HSV-1 igg: 6.09 Ru/ML ( less than 16 Ru/ML is negative)
I also took 2 urine PCRs in between, negative for HSV.
Which test results do I need to trust? What are the chances that these are false positives? Which test centre do I refer for accurate testing considering these are low positives and no symptoms? Doctors, I have researched and read a lot, only reply if you are properly aware of the condition and know about false positives. Please do not scare or spam just because you'll get reach. Thank you!
