Hernia (Pain with swollen lump)
Hi Doctor, Attached report confirmed hernia but the pain gradually reduced in grion area left behind the lump, do I have to still go for surgery? Please advice Note - If my mother climb stairs & does too much work her back is paining a lot

For your hernia surgery is best option and can be either done laparoscopically or open technique that you have to decide.. For back pain give her mild painkiller and apply ointment for pain relief.Avoid heavy work causing pain.
