Hi dr husband has hernia above penis right side ingula henia i want to know is this surgery safe ? Or a risk of life . I want to know please help . Is hernia surgery complicated ?

Hernia Surgery is a relatively safe surgery and usually there is no risk to life. It is one of the commonest surgeries performed by a General Surgeon and is seldom complicated.
One truth about hernia is, it grows in size. If surgery is not done in time, it may lead to complications like irreducibility and/or Bowel Obstruction which requires immediate surgery. Better to get operated early to prevent those problems.
Open and Laparoscopic Surgery are equally good options, but Laparoscopic Surgery has quick recovery and is comparatively expensive

Hernia surgery is safe and has minimal risk, you can for open repair which is safer and laparoscopic repair which is expensive. Both are equally good.
