  4. Small hernia. Process the same for both?

Small hernia
I have been diagnosed with an indirect inguinal hernia. My doctor suggested a right inguinal hernioplasty, but another doctor suggested it is a ventral hernia. Are these the same? Is the surgical repair process the same for both? Please find my scan results below.
