I fear that I have hemorrhoids. I have an external lump and occasionally when passing stools becomes difficult I feel that my rectum is pushing soft tissue outwards due to excessive expulsive force. What do I do?

It may be hemorrhoids or a rectal prolapse. You need to see a general surgeon who will examine you, diagnose the condition and then advise appropriate treatment. Both hemorrhoids and rectal prolapse are treated by surgery.
