I have seen redness in tonsil hole and pain in jaws when open mouth. I visited ENT But he gives me multivitamin Tablet but no recovery too much

Hello, There are crypts on tonsils, but due to repeated infections ,these pockets can get distorted and themselves act as source of infection.Can consider tonsillectomy surgery for relief from frequent infections and pain.

how long and how frequent are the episodes of pain..do you need to take antibiotic for each episode..please explain in detail.

if yes then treatment for reflux disease and SOS tonsillectomy i.e.surgery for removal of tonsils might help.

Hole in the tonsils is not really abnormal and if you do not have any symptoms such as throat pain and difficulty in swallowing then no treatment is required. It is not related to jaw pain and difficulty in opening mouth
