girls reach maturity earlier ,a 14 yr old girl starts looking like a woman but at 14 yrs a boy will still look like a boy and would mature by 18.you have not mentioned the height of both parents using which i can calculate the expected height of your daughter ,height increases due to release of growth hormone which usually occurs in night ,a girls maturation hormone is estradiol which starts increasing when she starts menturating.this hormone decrases the speed of bone growth and after getting her periods your daughter will gain height till the next 2 yrs,
Next Steps
get x ray of hand if it shows the bone ends to be open then the girl will gain height and getting medicines might help.

Hello....... It is true that a girl s growth slows down once she starts her periods, but it doesn t stop completely. For the next two years after the period starts, there is usually a little bit more growth, about one to three inches. There are usually not large growth spurts once the period starts.she can grow 1 to 2 inch..
