Plantar fascitis is a stubborn condition and does not go easily. Sometimes if untreated it even leads to calcaneal spur. Try Homeopathic medicines, there are medicines which completely cure this condition and your mom's heel pain will be history. Try freezing a cool drinks bottle filled with water and ask your mom to roll it under her feet daily in the night before sleep for five minutes. It will give a temporary relief.
