Kids are notorious .😊 Its common problm maam As injury is considered its in your aole area and we dont give rest to it. So it takes time to heal Istead of ice pack use a 500 ml water bottel freeZ it and then roll under your feet ( put in cloth and the. Use do not apply ixe direct to skin) Some pain medicine can help you but you need prescription for it. ISTEAD OF SLEEPER USE  SOFT SOLE SHOE OR SANDAL ( MEMORY FOAM SOLE OR SPORT SHOE WITH MEMORY FOAM ) AS THIS SHOE WILL HELP PREVENT FRICTION FORCE GENERATED BETWEEN YOUR SOLE AND FLOOR. SO PAIN WILL REDUCE.

It's just a coincidence that it started after hitting an object, this problem is called as Plantar Fasciitis and the classical complaint is pain in morning after getting up from bed which gets better with walking. You need to wear a special footwear which is made by orthotics and start doing stretching exercises for Plantar Fascia and Tendoachilles (better under supervision of physiotherapist). It usually takes months to get better. May need few medicines.
