Does heavy work during 30s (like residing in higher floors without lift, pulling water from well or carrying heavy baggage) frequently on a day to day basis, lead to osteoporosis or osteoarthritis in later years (55years and above)?
I live in an apartment which is on the third floor and we do not have lift.. My mother says regularly climbing up and down stairs can be harmful in the long run.. Please suggest if I should look for a alternative.. I also have a breastfeeing toddler who feeds on demand...

No regular heavy work doesn't lead to osteoporosis later on. In fact it makes your bones stronger. But you should maintain adequate body weight as per your height.
If you breastfeed, do take calcium supplements or a calcium rich diet.
do check your vitamin d levels.
