Heavy periods
My mother is 49 years old and she is suffering heavy periods for last 2 3 years.. sometimes period is gapped for 2 months nd sometimes she suffered heavy periods...she has thyroid..and now her TSH is over the normal range...this month she Is having 18 days long period..Is it for hyperthyroidism...??what can we do??

Plz get her Ft3 , Ft4 , Tsh done and then get her checked from a gynaecologist as it could be because of uncontrolled hypothyroidism or because of menopause also.
