Heavy bleeding
Hello, My iron and haemoglobin are very low and I had got iron infusion done but during period I lose a lot of blood and feel very weak. During periods I experience heavy bleeding for 3 days and 4 days of spotting. Before my periods, I experience extreme pain in my right leg and right arm, sleeping disorder ,chest heaviness, more urination and using the pause tablet only increases my bleeding. The iron transfusion only worked when I didn't get my my periods. I was feeling better. But duringnmy periods I lose so much blood that my test results come back to normal. Please help. The doctors are not willing to listen, they just order a bunch of tests and after the results come they don't even explain the results. And I have a rash on my left arm, it was itchy and my skin is turning black there due to the itching and now I'm left with black spots.. was this because of my periods or the iron infusion? Please help me. Thank you

Why would doctors not want to listen to you Iron infusion alone  may not be your only answer You first need investigations to find out the reason for the heavy flow during period Once the heavy flow settles oral iron therapy can also help you maintain your hemoglobin levels
