Hearing problem started suddenly
I had viral fever and one day i was laying on my bed suddenly i feel some kind of headache and lost hearing, actually its not completely lost but very low. Could you please suggest the probable cause and where to visit. I stay in Kolkata, your help is much appreciated.

You seem to be suffering from sudden sensorineural hearing loss which needs to be treated as early as possible. You need to undergo pure tone audiogram to confirm the diagnosis and if confirmed then. You need to take steroids and antiviral medications for a week. You may even require intra tympanic steroid injection
