Health query of my 10 days old son
Hello Sir/Madam,
My son hasn't passed stool for last two days & is passing bad smell gas. He is urinating properly. And am breastfeeding him every 2 hours interval. Kindly let me know what could have been the problem.
And secondly his eyes are little yellowish . We had done the bilirubin test on 15th Oct, and the results are
Total bilirubin 12.7 mg/dL
Direct bilirubin 0.8 mg/dL
On the same day, my son was under light treatment and next day doctor told he is fine. But still his eyes are yellowish. What could be the possible reason for the same. Please help me.

If you Pediatrician has said you that he is fine then there is no need to worry about yellow eyes.. it may remain yellowish till 10-14 days of life
For stool, a newborn baby can pass 15-20 stools per days to once in 5-7 days.. so need to worry regarding this also.
Just keep watch on urine output... He should urinate atleast 7 times in 24 hours and he should breastfeed well.
