I have headache often and feeling low.. I don't like to smile.. A small issue making me so emotional .. I feel like there is no moral support for me at my in-laws place.. they use to remember me only when there is some need from me .. My hubby cares for me.. But when it comes in between family and me.. he is trying to justify their mistakes.. that annoying me.. nowadays am not talking even to him properly... I have a 8 months kid.. I just worry these things shouldn't affect him in any way...

I understand your distressful situation. You seem to be suffering from significant depressive symptoms including low mood, irritability, headaches etc. However more clarity is needed regarding your problem. Information regarding your sleep, appetite, energy levels and concentration at whatever you do would be more helpful to decide on the severity of your condition. Don't worry it is not your fault, it is the pregnancy and delivery related hormonal and chemical fluctuations in your brain as a result of stress which is taking a toll on your mental health. It is indeed demanding to put up with the feeling that people around don't reciprocate. It is easily manageable with appropriate treatment, so that dysfunction due to the same can be reduced and your quality of life will improve. You will also be able to take care of yourself and your baby better. Please consult a nearby psychiatrist for the same. I would also be more than happy to help you with that if you are looking for online assistance. Discussions will be held confidential. You can directly consult with me through Practo as needed. Online chat consultation is also available.

I am able to understand ur difficulties. Many of the symptoms which u have mentioned is seen in people with depression and anxiety. Depression makes a person sensitive and irritable to things which they were able to tolerate before and lead to interpersonal problems. Postpartum period is vulnerable for depression. V would need to know few more details like ur sleep, hunger, energy levels, interest etc to give appropriate suggestions. Ur problems can easily be treated with counselling and if needed medications. Don't let ur problems affect ur personal or family life. If u r looking for some help online, I would be more than happy to consult u online. Best wishes for speedy recovery!!
