Hi there I understand your anxiety and concern....Your doctors will advice MRI when there is likely to be a clear benefit, and the benefit outweighs the possible disadvantages...and MRI is considered to be a safe procedure providing you do not have any implants or objects on you that must not go in the scanner...hope you got your answer..good luck.
