Head is hot but body is cold..
My 6mos old baby having fever for 5days..
His pedia doctor gve tempra & pediamox.. But still hs temp. Is 83degrees celcius.. His head is too hot especially at night but his body is warm/cold.. I do also spongebath..

The heads,soles and palms of babies this age is warmer than the rest of the body,that's normal.
If body seems warm,measure the temperature,if more than 100,give just paracetamol for fever if required and repeat every 4 hours if recurring.
Most fevers in children are viral in origin and take 3-7 days to subside completely.
