Your HbA1C are suggestive of prediabetes. HbA1C shows average of of your 3 month readings and is gold standard. Random sugar is not useful to make diagnosis of prediabetes, This condition can be potentially reversed to non diabetic if interventions in the diet and exercise are made. Weight loss of 10 % of current baseline weight is helpful. In absence of intervention, there is 15% chance of progression to diabetes with each passing years.
