Chronic ear pain is unlikely to be primary ear problem and other caused of referred ear pain needs to be ruled out. Causes include temporo Mandibular joint dysfunction, eustachian tube dysfunction, cervical myofacial pain, dental infections etc. Treatment depends on identifying cause for your problem
