Pain can be because of migraine or even lack of sleep or anxiety. It can be even due to neck muscle spasm. Highly unlikely due to sinus problems!
Next Steps
Take painkillers for 2-3 days, have proper sleep,try to relax and do hot fomenting in the neck and shoulder area. If still not resolved then consult a ENT specialist.
