Hey Dr My father is suffering from fever frm last 2 days his report shows High tlc-11000&85neutrophls And al other widl,malaria reports are -ve. He is on cepodem xp  325 for 2 days &calpol625mg 3times Dr,his fever is not going down frm99.4 even after calpol Plz tl further medications whch cn hlp him Thank you

Hi Its impotant to evaluate the cause for fever to be either bacterial or viral origin … viral origin will have persistent high fever inspite of anti pyretics for a week or more and is self resolving … bacterial origin needs proper workup..
